Here we are at ten weeks and I can't believe we've already come this far! In fact, as I read all the information below, I am having a very hard time wrapping my mind around the idea that all of that is going on inside my body! Just look at that picture! You can see ears, eyes, nose, mouth, perfect little hands and arms! I wonder if he or she is looking more like mommy or daddy. What he or she will sound like when crying. Whether he or she is a boy or girl!
My guess is girl. Steve's guess is boy. Go figure! :)
As for me, I'm feeling a little bit better, but waves of nausea definitely hit hard still. Peppermints are keeping my meals down and I've learned a new little trick to eating. If I occupy my mind with something else, like reading a magazine or talking to my friends at lunch during school days, I can eat much easier than if I just sit there and eat a meal. I still don't want to think about food and even commercials about it make me sick. I learned that BW3's popcorn shrimp makes my stomach do flip-flops when I smell them (thank you, Steve), and that peanut butter ice cream makes me shudder (thanks again to my other half). This cough of mine is still lingering, but Dr. Kennebeck says my lungs are clear and so it should be going away here soon, which Steve will love. He's taken to shushing me when I cough. He thinks it's hilarious. :) Also, I forgot to report that the nurse weighed me and I still haven't gained any weight, but she said that is completely normal since I've not wanted much to do with food for the past five weeks! I have a little bump that definitely appears larger as the day goes on, however the "true bump" with an empty stomach is still tiny, however still extremely exciting!!
We also got our very first gift for baby Crackerjack! My sweet friend, Jill got us these activity keys that you can make cold and use as teethers, too! Thank you, Jill! We love it and we love you!!
Please keep praying for our little Crackerjack as he or she grows and grows. I can't wait until our next doctor's appointment (minus the flu shot part) and my students absolutely can't wait until we find out if it's a boy or girl! I'd say I have to agree. Finding out if I'm carrying a Cohen Xavier Marshall or a Savannah Hope Marshall is going to be a wonderful day!!

Baby's Growth and Development at 10 Weeks Pregnant
It's official! After weeks of life as an embryo, by the end of the 10th week of your pregnancy, your baby becomes a fetus. Here are some of the other changes your baby is going through during your 10th week of pregnancy:
- By the 10th week of pregnancy, your baby measures more than one inch, or roughly the length of a quarter.
- By the beginning of the 10th week of pregnancy, all of your baby's vital organs have formed.
- His embryonic tail, located at the bottom of his spinal cord, has disappeared.
- His bones continue to develop. On an ultrasound, your baby's bones appear white.
- At 10 weeks pregnant, his ears get close to their final form.
- His teeth buds emerge and his eyelids develop further.
- Tiny fingers and toes are fully separated (no more webbing).
- Plus, your baby's brain growth really takes off. Every minute, 250,000 new neurons (or first brain cells) are produced.
So excited I made your blog!! :-) Praying for your baby every day! Love you!
