Steve took our twelve week bump picture yesterday and as you can see our little cat, Lexi is intrigued by what's going on! She is such a mommy's girl. I do wonder how she's going to take me giving so much attention to our little one come April!
New Discovery
I can't stand water. Despise it, actually. It tastes like grass smells. In fact, my pancakes tasted like beer this morning, some post-its smelled like tangerines a few weeks ago, and an Expo marker smelled like Tootsie Roll, so really the water thing isn't that far out there. :)
However, I just realized one little lemon slice in water makes a world of difference!
Hurray!
I was so frustrated because I know I need water (the constant parched feeling was my biggest clue) and so does the baby, but I just can't stand the taste! I've been choking it down as much as possible, at times gagging as I have done so, until I heard that lemon might help...and it did! Thank goodness!
Steve can't understand how I can possibly dislike something "flavorless," however I think he is getting more used to my weird little pregnancy quirks because today in the grocery when I walked up with french fries and a carton of chocolate ice-cream saying, "I can't wait to dip the fries in this ice-cream!" he just smiled and put it in the cart. :)
Crackerjack-12 Weeks
Mommy-still feeling nauseous!
Daddy-taking care of Mommy and Baby every day
Mommy again- praising God for such a wonderful, loving husband. :)
When you get tired of lemons in your water, you can put an orange slice in it instead for something different! :)
