The Marshall Family: 4 Months and a Happy Halloween!

The day after sixteen weeks, I helped my sister and brother-in-law take my niece and nephew out for Trick-or-Treat. Steve and I had actually just been talking about how we were a little worried that we wouldn't be too great at Halloween with Crackerjack next year because neither of us are really into it.

However, going around their neighborhood with them, watching their excitement, I found a whole new appreciation for Halloween--and for parents on Halloween! Tim and Emily are such good examples for Steve and me when it comes to parenting on any day, but yesterday was especially great to watch. They worked together to make everything go off without a hitch. Smiling at each other, their children, and just beaming the whole night.
