About 20 weeks here
I think we were about 14 weeks or so here :) They had a photo booth set up at the wedding. The first two are from the booth, the last from the photographer.
I need to choose a nursing cover and so far these are the two I really like. First, of course, this one because of the butterflies.
Second, this one because it's just pretty. I've also seen people on Etsy who will let you send them your own fabric, so that's an option, too.
LOVE these onesies!
Yes, I may be subjecting my child to pop culture of my own generation...but a little Billy Madison never hurt anyone ;)
They also had one with a "Shrute buck" on it, but I figured of the two, I like this one better :)
Ok, if you don't watch The Office, you may think I'm a horrible mother when looking at this next onesie. However, if you don't watch The Office....and don't know who Andy Bernard is, I can't help what hilariousness you're missing out on or the silliness of this onesie. :D
HATS HATS HATS!
I may be a teensie bit obsessed with hats for Cohen. Here are a few I found on Etsy that were just so cute I might have to snag a few of them!
Ok...how adorable is this one? It comes with a bow tie for crying out loud! :D
Guess who likes this one best? ;)
I've also been trying to let Cohen listen to music as much as possible, and Steve has read stories to him now that he can hear what's going on out here. Last night I found Pandora Radio online. First of all, I'm obsessed with it. Secondly, Cohen kicks and kicks to certain songs. It's so cute. So far, some of his "favorites" are: Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl (after his Mommy's heart on that one), and For What it's Worth by Buffalo Springfield. On both of those songs, he kicked so hard! Once the songs were over, he stopped. I know I could be totally crazy and that he's probably just active at certain times, but a little part of me thinks this kid likes upbeat music. It's times like this when it feels like he has his own little personality and I find myself loving him even more. :)

Name: Stephen
Age: 27

Finding out:
What day did you find out you were pregnant?: August 4th 2010
How did you feel when you found out?: Shocked! We had been trying, but I thought it was way too early to test. It was 5:30 in the morning and I just couldn't sleep. I cried and cried praising God for such a blessing!
Who was with you?: just me. Steve was still sleeping :)
How did the daddy react?: The same way he did the first time, by saying, "Are you sure?" :D
Telling the grandparents:
How did your parents react?: They were so happy for us, especially after all we'd been through.
How did his parents react?: Totally excited too! They were in Colorado and a few hours behind us, so I had to wait to tell everyone so we could text everybody at the same time. I wanted to just call his mom and dad and shout it into the phone with excitement, but Steve assured me waking them at 4 a.m. probably wouldn't be the nicest.
How often do they call to check on you?: All the time. They are so sweet.
About the pregnancy:
When is your due date?:April 16th
How far along are you right now?: 23 weeks 5 days!
Have you had an ultra sound?: Yes! 3 of them.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes, Several times...and it NEVER gets old!
Sex of the baby: BOY!!!!!
Are you happy with what you are having?: Definitely!
About the birth:
Who is going to be with you?: Just Steve, me, and some nurses (and hopefully Dr. K.!)
Are you going to video tape it?:Oh no. I have seen a live birth and there is no part of me that wants to see myself give birth on tape....
Natural or medicated?: Give me drugs, but I'm trying to be prepared for anything :)
Do you think you will have a c-section?: I have no idea. If I do, I know it will be best for Cohen.
Do you think you will cry when you first hold your baby?: I cry thinking about how much I love him now, so yeah, probably.
Do you know what you will say to the baby when you first hold it?: I will probably be checking every inch of him to make sure he's okay...so anything out of my mouth, I'm guessing, will be about him.
Are you scared about the labor?: Not really. I mean, there's nothing getting scared is going to do for me...this baby has to come out one way or another.
