Turkeys and Tree Trimming

Thanksgiving was another big holiday in the Marshall house. I love it. Mostly because it's just about family. No presents. No expectations. Just family, laughter, and hugs. Oh, and The Grinch...don't forget our family's traditional Turkey Day viewing of The Grinch!

Watching the Macy's Day Parade with Mommy and Daddy
Momma's always stealing squeeeeeezes! Can you tell by the look on his face how much he loves it? LOL
Dinner at Grammy's with Aunt Em's sucker of bribery :)
Uncle Tim, Ayden, Auntie Em, and Boop
 My beautiful Momma
 Family hugs during The Grinch
Cohen's Great Grandpa Marshall made this amazing table for Stephen when he was a boy and it has been passed down to Cohen John Marshall. Here he sits playing with his cousin, Audrey May. Cuties.
 Decorating doors with window clings
Cohen's first cup of hot cocoa. He was a definite fan.
Our little Hattie Bat is growing and as ornery as ever. She and Cohen have become fast friends...most of the time. :)
Cohen and Liam for Liam's 2nd birthday party. It was milk and cookies theme. It was AWESOME! :)
The Big Tree Plantation to find our Christmas tree.
 Momma's boy
 We found our tree!!
Our big, tough Daddy cut it down!
Waiting in line to see Santa again, we decorated a cookie.
Santa was so kind to our Cohen. He even stood up and asked for "one more" when we were done...it was already ten minutes past Santa's lunch break when he did this. It was super sweet and meant a lot to us. The fact that he had candy canes definitely helped Cohen decide to be his friend.
This year in front of the big fire...
Last year...getting so big so fast.
 The Polar Express!!
 LOVED it!
In Christmas jammies and all, we went to see Santa again.

Cohen and Liam eating their cookies. Liam fell face first on this cold, wet winter morning into the mud off this bench, and I will never forget him pushing his little hand, full of cookie, in the air as if to tell us he was okay. We got a BIG laugh out of that one!

Each of the kids got a bell from Santa. Here's Cohen enjoying his...he jingled his all the way back.
 Love our little family...
