Five Months Old

Cohen is growing and growing as you will see in these pictures! He has begun teething, has started grabbing our faces, and loves, more than ever, to snuggle! We are having the best time being a family. Thankful. Thankful. Thankful. :)

Cohen and Aunt Emily got to spend some time together
Our boys playing together. One of my favorite pictures ever.
We bought this little Brutus Buckeye outfit way before we had Cohen thinking, as people who haven't ever dressed a child apparently do, that 6 month clothing would definitely fit a five-month-old! Oh how naive! If we knew then what we know now...we would have bought 9 months, which is exactly what he is comfortably wearing right now! :)
Sunday morning fun times before the grocery store
Cohen loves his jumpy seat. It has helped so much with his coordination, head strenght, and core strength!
 Love my boys.
Cohen looks so adorable in blue. His eyes are the BLUEST blue. He looks like such a perfect little mish mash of the two of us...except for those gorgeous eyes. We have no idea where he got those beautiful little peepers. :)
We tried the baby swing, but it didn't work out so well. So, we decided to take turns swinging with him stead.

Outside is Cohen's favorite place to be.
That hair! Not styled this way...just blowing in the wind as they head back to the car!
He loves when Momma rides in the back of the car with him.
We got him some new blocks...and he really likes them! He chews on them like crazy. They have been so great for his teething which has caused him so much pain.

He's getting so good at tummy time. He is seriously the happiest little boy. Very giggly and so snuggly!

This month was my very first Buckeye's game!!!!!!
Working on learning how to sit up.
Found a new favorite toy...my OSU football!
...but no matter how many toys I get, I always love a good finger chomp. Nom nom nom!

Every minute of the day we are together are the best time. We always laugh or smile. Even when he's fussy or tired, a big raspberry blown on his tummy or some Eskimo kisses bring a smile back to his face.
Our friends threw a party we called "Couple Fest" starting a new tradition. Each family chose a team color...we were orange.
Cohen had on his Bengal's attire, too, but he fell asleep right before we left.
One of the games, which I was HORRIBLE at. One among many I lost for the Orange Team! Poor Steve. I'm just not a great competitor.
Little Liam playing while we couples played another game.

Cohen and Daddy putting together their Fantasy Football Team. Draft day follows us everywhere we go!
Cohen went to his first parade!

Cohen and Daddy snuggled up because it was so cold, he was tired, and Daddy always heats up like a furnace when he holds Coco.
Cassidy and Audrey had a great time dancing
 While Cohen took his nap.
We went to the Holiday at Home festival after the parade and we listened to a band play. Cassidy got up in front of everyone and danced around. She is so silly, but Cohen loved watching and listening.
One of my all-time favorite pictures. Daddy and Cohen with Grandpa and a fire truck just like the one Grandpa used to drive!
Once the 6 hour day was over, we were so proud of Cohen. He was so good and only fussed a little around lunch time!
Daddy always reads to Cohen. Sometimes books, sometimes the sports section. :)
His first fall jammies. When I saw them at the store, he immediately put them in his mouth. I knew we had to get them. Partially because he loved them, and partially because his spit pretty much made them ours. :)
Just hanging out with Momma

He rolls a little while we play. He wants so badly to crawl! He just wants to be on the move!
We are so excited every single day we wake up and the LORD has given us another day as a family. We are so happy and are getting excited as the cool weather approaches to share all the holidays coming up. We have already put pumpkins and mums outside, bought Cohen some jammies and cute little outfits for Halloween, and have gotten him his Halloween costumes. He will be both a lion and a tiger. Mommy and Daddy just couldn't decide. :) Our parents made holidays so special for us and we want to create that kind of family bond and excitement in our home even now when he's too tiny to remember. We want to create a home of love and warmth so he can look back on pictures and see how hard we tried to give him the best life. We just love this little man to pieces. Thank you, LORD for our family.
