I can't believe six months has flown by this fast. Cohen John surprises us every single day with his crazy fast growth, his amazing little smile and snuggles as well as how much more we love him each day! Here are some snapshots of his sixth month.
Steve was in California for a whole week! That was one tough week for Mommy and Coco!
Grammy and Cohen have created quite the little bond.
We just love this little face and of course those beautiful eyes!
Hidden Valley Fruit Farms...looks like someone was ready to drive the tractor!
On a hike at Sugarcreek Reserve
Windmill Farms for a hayride and pumpkin picking
Playing in the pumpkins with his best buddy, Liam
His favorite toy, Potsy.
We went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Marshall and cousins Audrey, Cassie and Aunt Stephanie
Mommy, Coco, and Grandpa
Visiting the butterfly room and thinking about our little Peanut
Our dear friend, Kendra took some pictures at Kleather's Pumpkin Patch and here are a couple of our favorites from his 6 month shoot:
The butterfly on Steve's back made it feel like our little angel was with us that day
...and he's even taller now!
Grammy's birthday was quite the celebration! Jimmy Johns, birthday cake, presents, and FUN!
Our three year anniversary was definitely different this year! We got take out from Carrabbas and exchanged gifts once Cohen went to bed :)
We started solid foods this month! Sweet potatoes was his first food! Mommy is making all his food homemade and fresh <3
Steve got me a beautiful Coach watch for our anniversary for the traditional "leather" gift and I got him a custom red and black baseball glove.
Cohey's first pumpkin carving!
My boys and their pumpkin
Cohen's best bud got dedicated at church
Sticking his tongue out has become his new favorite thing!
Our little man just keeps getting bigger and bigger. He can say "Mama, Dada (his favorite word, and he says it ALL the time), cat, all done, more, and Ba Ba." He's very chatty and we.....aren't that surprised. :) He is sitting up all by himself so well now. He's even trying to crawl and pull up on us. He likes to "wrestle" and "bite" our face. He loves to snuggle and has just started hugging us. He also waves bye bye and hello with his whole arm. His hair has grown so long and Steve wants to cut it, but I refuse! I just love those long locks and I don't think it bothers him at all. :) He is sleeping SO well! We aren't getting up hardly at all anymore at night, which if I'm being honest, I do miss.
Our awesome God is so wonderful. He has given us this sweet little man, a warm and loving home, and really everything we need in each other, too. Just so thankful each and every day. We are really looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas, too. Before we know it, he's going to be having his first birthday. I do wish I could just make time stand still and snuggle this little man every minute of the day. I just can't believe we are so blessed...just so SO thankful! <3
